Anti-Discrimination and Hate Speech Policy

SAPI connects people of all different backgrounds, uniting people through the love of the culinary arts. It is a community that celebrates cooking, baking, preparing meals, selling, and buying amazing delicacies. This policy explains the behavior that is prohibited on SAPi to ensure a positive experience.

This policy is a part of the Terms of Use. Please read the Anti-Discrimination and Hate Speech Policy carefully before downloading, accessing, or using any SAPI Services to be sure you agree with the Anti-discrimination and hate speech policy.
SAPI prohibits the use of our Services to discriminate against people based on the following personal attributes (collectively, “protected groups”):

  • Race
  • Color
  • Ethnicity
  • National origin
  • Religion
  • Gender
  • Gender identity
  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability
  • Any other characteristic protected under applicable law

It is the user’s responsibility to know and follow local laws and any other legal regulations on discrimination that may apply. Further, SAPI does not allow hate speech, defined as violent, offensive, derogatory, or demeaning language directed at a person or group based on their one or more protected group attributes.

As a seller on SAPi, kitchen content cannot display discriminatory behavior towards protected groups such as:

  • Refusal of service based on membership in one or more protected group
  • Expressing intolerance or a lack of respect for another user on the basis of protected group attributes
  • Having a kitchen policy that excludes sales to users of one or more protected groups
  • Directly or indirectly making derogatory or demeaning remarks against protected groups
  • Racial slurs
  • Posts that support or glorify hate groups and their member.
